EXHIBITION OF THE FRANCO-PORTUGUESE YOUTH CREATION

ABBAYE SAINT ANDRÉ CENTRE D’ART CONTEMPORAIN (MEYMAC, FRANCE)

Scheduled to open on October 19th, at 6 pm, this annual meeting provides the opportunity to discover the work of a selection of young graduates of the current year in art schools that are also partners of the organizing entity.

The works of the following artist will be on display: Lou Lolita Arnon, Cristina Chapier Poumailloux, Hyein Choi, Alexandre Ferrani, Manuel Ferreira, Thibaud Gouez, Ricardo Leandro, Maëlle Le Hécho, Francisco Figueiredo Lopes, Amandine Magois Ortega, Cygny Malvar, Marius Mielcarek, Chris Paquentin, Grégoire Pérotin and ESAD.CR’s Fredrik Robens, João Soares and HElena Valsecchi.

Four French schools will be present in this edition: École européenne supérieure de l’image de Poitiers et Angoulême, École nationale supérieure d’art de Bourges, École Supérieure d’Art de Clermont Métropole and École nationale supérieure d’art de Limoges. Two Portuguese schools are also part of this edition: ESAD.CR – School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha (Polytechnic University of Leiria) and Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon.

The selection of the finalists who applied for this year’s “Première” program is by Caroline Bissière and Jean-Paul Blanchet.

In February 2025, the exhibition catalogue will be published.
