The book Art as Gestation of the Public Sphera, published in English, co-edited by Mário Caeiro, lecturer at ESAD.CR | PL and researcher at the LIDA (IPL) and CECC (UCP) research centres, and José Guilherme Abreu, researcher at CITAR, functions as a multidimensional transdisciplinary reflection. The book includes contributions from a group of artists and researchers, whose texts are the result of a series of conferences held in 2022 and 2023. The book is available online, free of charge. The paper edition of 200 copies is intended exclusively for placement in national and foreign libraries.

osé Guilherme Abreu (1957, Porto) holds a PhD in Contemporary Art History from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon. He is a researcher at the Centre for Research in Science and Technology of the Arts (CITAR).
