Master in Arts of Sound and Image
Lab II – Sonic Arts

This open class aims to introduce the concept of Musical Geometry, from the point of view of audiovisual creation and the research of a possible translation between geometric proportions and harmonies, and musical frequencies and harmonic relationships. I present the open-source composition tool GeoMusica, created during the research that has been ongoing since 2016, with some practical examples explored in real time, after a first quick approach to the thinking and inspiration underlying the project.
