Laundry at the Hospital and Caldas Museum
In this session with the Guarda Rios collective, we will reflect on different issues related to rivers, ecosystems and water management on the planet. The collective will talk about its multidisciplinary practice – performance, installation, walks – as a means for critical and inclusive thinking on complex issues that address environmental policy, ecology, activism and areas of knowledge such as archeology or the history of technology.
The collective’s proposal will be to think of a river as an experiential, affective and celebratory space, from which we can design alternative models to the current extractive paradigm.
