Workshop with Éditions n’importe quoi
Laura Figueiras e Kevin Claro
WORKSHOP
APRIL 28TH OF 2025, 2.30PM
GRÁFICA CALDENSE GRACAL
Éditions n’importe quoi is a micro publishing project for artist’s books and notebooks founded in April 2019 by Laura Figueiras and Kevin Claro. Its main objective is to build objects by reusing paper, cardboard, fabrics and plastic, through partnerships with local industries and organisations that give them access to surplus and discards. To date, they have built hundreds of graphic diaries and twenty-two editions of artist’s books. Some of these editions have only had one copy, others 35, which is (so far) the maximum number of copies produced. The project is currently based at the Caldense printing house Gracal, where they have a studio and access to most of the raw materials they use. This workshop will see the launch of the collective project Edições da Sala 5, Vol. XIV, to be published from the graphic material collected.
